Matt Hatfield is a comedian, actor, and visual artist residing in Los Angeles, California. He was born in Saratoga, New York; spent his childhood in Knox, New York; his high school years in Pocatello, Idaho; received his BA in Theatre from the Evergreen State College in Olympia, Washington; then spent 8 years in Seattle, Washington before moving to L.A. in late 2019.

      Matt was a founding member of the sketch comedy group, "Drop the Root Beer and Run" and was active from 2011-2016. He was also a player for ComedySportz Seattle from 2012-2014 and served as a board member for The Pocket Theater in Seattle. He has produced comedy variety shows such as Halloween Hell Harvest (of Comedy), Monsters in the Woods, and NOT a Christmas Show. He also performed regularly with his improv duo, Matt-enee as well as his own solo sketch comedy endeavor.

        Upon moving to L.A. Matt has worked as a background actor on numerous TV shows, films, and commercials. You can see him in every episode of Showtime's Super Pumped, as well as episodes of The Mandalorian, I Think You Should Leave with Tim Robinson, and Miracle Workers among many, many others. He has also been featured in a few music videos and can most recently be seen and heard in an ad for Sake High's Sake in a can.

       In addition to performing and producing comedy, Matt also enjoys illustrating with ink and creating digital art. A huge fan of horror movies, cryptozoology, and folklore. Matt is most comfortable drawing monsters (both from folklore and his own imagination) as well as whatever surrealist nonsense he can come up with, but he is always available for whatever commissions you are willing to throw his way.
